It's the best food and friendly service. It great!

Loved everything. My food was delicious. They didn't take long to bring all 3 plates of our food out. 10min tops! The owner was very nice & friendly. Will be returning before we move out of Louisiana.

I am SO thankful for this restaurant. I moved from Denver where there are hatch-green-chili vendors with roasters in parking lots across town and street taco vendors and killer Mexican restaurants everywhere. The chichharon tacos at Caro's were the best I've had in a long time... maybe ever... and that's no exaggeration. Great prices, amazing food and now... I can't wait to go back and try their green chili... hopefully they sell it by the pint/quart. My wife loved her steak burrito and is excited to return on Wednesdays for the Chili Rellano special. Such a relief after moving here in Aug of 2017 and going without my staple-comfort cuisine ever since. Cannot recommend this place enough. Staff was Super sweet too. Thank you Caro's!!!

This place is the real deal. The Barbacoa Tacos are the best. You can eat inside or on the front porch. The staff are great, friendly and caring people. Service with a smile.

Building appeared to be held together with scrap materials. However, Food was good. Service was great. I'd recommend the place to others.

First time trying them and the food was good. I had the shrimp taco with Pico on it, it had a bit too much cilantro mixed in for me but I took it off and just ate my shrimp taco. The shrimp were seasoned so good that it was the best taco I ever had.

The food is made super fresh and it's delicious!! They drop your tortilla chips as you order them, so they're always hot and fresh when arriving at your table. Be careful of the salsa verde, it's HOT 🔥🔥🔥 very nice people, great food, and not expensive at all. 10/10 will go back!

Lovely restaurant with great food and service.

I went there with my family and it's a very nice authentic Mexican food spot as the title suggest. I ordered loaded nachos that tasted fresh but it wasn't the best. On the other hand, my families dishes were fresh and delicious. I guess it depends on what you order.

Amazing authentic mexican cuisine. We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery and amazing weather with the food. The wait staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I ate the steak fajita bowl and the flavor was arguably the best one I've had so far. The vegetables were fresh and the meat was not overly saturated in salt as is the norm with mexican restaurants. The salsa had amazing flavor and texture as well. I would highly recommend this little hole in the wall place to anyone. Not to mention the prices being the best in town.

Hot chips! Pleasant mix of Carribean w authentic Mexican. Nice patio area, friendly staff and great prices. We stop by whenever we pass Alexandria. Definitely a hole in the wall, but well worth the trip.

Caro's is my go-to for the BEST tacos and kindest service in CenLa! Try the bistec or chorizo and bring a friend or come on your own!

We have really enjoyed Cato's every time we've gone! Having lived in Mexico for 4 years I can say that the food is very authentic and super-tasty! And the workers are so friendly! It's a great place to get a real taste of traditional Mexican cooking.

Food was terrible. You had to wait to place your order, because the waitress had to was the dishes. I had a chicken salad. Cucumber in the salad which I do not like, also it had big chucks of avocado, which I ate by accident because it was covered by lettuce. I almost threw up. The salad had 5 cucumber, 1 cherry tomato cut into 4 slices, and 6 thin strip of chicken, and lettuce, which cost $9. Expensive terrible salad. If I could rate it a negative star, I would.

It was Fabulous as always!!! I had the burrito with beef it was very filling. Last time I had tacos! It never disappoints. Service is great, if it's good weather sit outside...one of the best little gems in Alexandria

Fantastic Tex Mex, that classic taste your are looking for. Friendly staff with plenty of room to stretch out, jaritos available, also a side store with plenty of import flavors.

Two places stand out in Alexandria for great food. This is one. If you have never had Jerk Chicken get there on Wend and have a feast. Carla is the best most pleasant host and her husband can cook up a dream. Thanks Gang.

These are the best tacos in Alexandria. The wait staff is nice too. They also have a good selection of Mexican sodas and even a little shop with different Mexican snacks and items. This place is a good addition to the community.

It's very authentic, not your usual chain restaurant Tex-Mex food. Cute little place between Metro and Peterman. I have been there more than once.

Authentic.... So freaking fresh. You can literally taste ingredients that make you wonder if they have fresh gardens in the back! No other restaurant in town offers the selection they offer, at the budget friendly prices they do, or the amazingly fresh quality that they do. This place is underrecognized. It is a hidden gem!
